The Chicago Zoological Society CZS operates the Brookfield Zoo to provide an engaging animal experience for over two million guests on an annual basis. One of the most important objectives of the Brookfield Zoo is to maintain the highest level of well-being and care for over two thousand animals currently residing there. Such a massive animal care operation requires innovative animal care programs and processes to ensure a high quality of life for the animals as well as a stimulating guest experience. Animal Enrichment data was previously collected through a paper form process, lending itself to data entry errors and delayed data analysis. Brookfield Zoo recognized the need to capture this data electronically to improve data quality and assist animal care specialists through machine learning analysis of provided enrichment activity. The City of Brookfield was looking for a way to improve the health of their employees and their spouses. They wanted to implement a wellness program with the hope of reducing their medical premiums. In addition, the City of Brookfield has seen noticeable changes in company culture and employee morale.
CCP was engaged by Brookfield Properties to reduce development and leasing risk of a planned historical development site in Whittier, CA. By establishing communication and connections with the restaurant and retail influencers in the surrounding trade area, CCP was able to give the developer a glimpse into the future. During this consulting project, CCP identified the top restaurants and tastemakers in the greater Whittier, CA trade area and made contact with the top principles, chefs and influencers in the area. CCP coordinated an architectural firm familiar with historical redevelopment and arranged onsite and off site roundtables and design charrettes with the stakeholders. The outcome was a clear understanding of the potential of the site and the likelihood of a successful Lease-up.
