Students typically apply to the Haas Undergraduate Program during the Fall term of their sophomore year. All required courses must be completed by the end of the Spring term prior to starting at the Haas School. Although you are not required to complete all prerequisites at the time of application, the admission committee prefers to see as many prerequisites as possible completed by the end of the Fall term prior to starting at the Haas School. Prepare to lead, innovate, and affect change with the new Global Management Program. Through study at the Haas School of Business, across UC Berkeley, and abroad, you will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in global management. The selective Global Management Program blends rigorous business and general education courses with broad cultural understanding, preparing students to lead in financial services, communications, social sector solutions, foreign affairs, management consulting, and more. UC Berkeley Haas is perhaps best known for its highly selective MBA program, but this business school also offers a one-year Master of Financial Engineering degree for those applicants interested in computational finance focused on business and economics. Another reason for that successful placement rate in the US is that this is a STEM program, so international students are eligible for up to 36 months of optional practical training in the US after graduating.
